The Rosewood Eagles basketball team (Goldsboro, NC), was overwhelmed 58-25 in Friday's league battle with the host North Duplin Rebels (Calypso, NC)
The Rebels now possess a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hobbton for a 1A Conference 10 battle on Tuesday, January 24. North Duplin will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 50-36 league loss to Union (Rose Hill, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-12.
The Eagles (0-15) will now prepare for their battle against Lakewood (Roseboro, NC). The Leopards come into the 1A Conference 10 battle with a 8-7 record. In their last battle, Lakewood trounced Neuse Charter (Smithfield, NC), 40-31, in a league battle.
