In Wednesday's non-league outing, the North Duplin Rebels (Calypso, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Rosewood Eagles (Goldsboro, NC), by a margin of 57-18.
The Rebels (20-1) will now prepare for their outing against Union (Rose Hill, NC). The Spartans go into the non-league outing with a 14-8 record. In their last outing, Union smashed Lakewood (Roseboro, NC), 58-39, in a non-league outing.
The Eagles now own a 3-20 record.
