The Ouachita Christian Eagles basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the host River Oaks Mustangs to 26 in the Eagles league victory on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln Prep for a 1A District 2 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Ouachita Christian will battle a Panthers team coming off a 48-36 league loss to River Oaks (Monroe, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-8.
The Mustangs (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Cedar Creek (Ruston, LA). The Cougars come into the 1A District 2 contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Cedar Creek prevailed over St. Frederick (Monroe, LA), 44-15, in a league contest.
