Ouachita Christian Eagles (Monroe, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting River Oaks Mustangs (Monroe, LA), 65-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Ouachita Christian upgrades its record to 18-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Lincoln Prep (Grambling, LA) to clash with the Panthers in a 1A District 2 bout on Thursday, February 9. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 0-9.

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Cedar Creek Cougars (Ruston, LA) in a 1A District 2 bout, on Thursday, February 9. River Oaks will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 13-5 record after their 62-23 league win over St. Frederick (Monroe, LA).
