The West Tallahatchie Choctaws basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host South Delta Bulldogs to 39 in the Choctaws league victory on Friday.
The Choctaws now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McEvans for a 1A Region 5 match on Tuesday, January 24.
With the defeat, South Delta moves to 0-5 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Simmons (Hollandale, MS) to meet the Blue Devils in a 1A Region 5 match on Friday, January 27. The Blue Devils enter the match with a record of 16-1.
