In Wednesday's league match, the host West Tallahatchie Choctaws basketball team scored a good 42-34 triumph over the South Delta Bulldogs.
In their next game, the Choctaws meet the McEvans Warriors (Shaw, MS) in a 1A Region 5 match, on Tuesday, January 10. West Tallahatchie will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 8-5 record after their 52-21 non-league win over Edwards (Ruleville, MS).
