The Wheatland Bulldogs (Wheatland, WY) basketball nipped the visiting Torrington Trailblazers (Torrington, WY), 34-27 in Friday's league test.
The Bulldogs (13-2) will now prepare for their test against Rawlins (Rawlins, WY). The Outlaws go into the 3A Southeast test with a 2-10 record. In their last test, Rawlins was tipped by Douglas (Douglas, WY), 55-11, in a league test.
The Trailblazers now own a 7-3 record. They play next when they host Douglas for a 3A Southeast test on Saturday, January 21. Torrington will encounter a Bearcats squad coming off a 55-11 league win over Rawlins (Rawlins, WY). The Bearcats record now stands at 12-1.
