Wheatland Bulldogs (Wheatland, WY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Torrington Trailblazers (Torrington, WY), 53-45 in a league bout.

With the victory, Wheatland upgrades its record to 15-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Rawlins (Rawlins, WY) to play the Outlaws in a 3A Southeast bout on Saturday, February 18. The Outlaws come into the bout with a record of 2-17. Rawlins lost 71-27 in their recent league bout against Douglas (Douglas, WY)

Next up, the Trailblazers play the Newcastle Dogies (Newcastle, WY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 18. Torrington will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Dogies come into the bout with a 13-4 record after their 80-41 non-league loss to Douglas (Douglas, WY).
