The Ashe County Huskies basketball team (West Jefferson, NC), dropped 35-17 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC)
The Pioneers now possess a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Caldwell for a non-league battle on Friday, January 27.
The Huskies (5-9) will now prepare for their battle against Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 13-0 record. In their last battle, Alexander Central beat South Iredell (Statesville, NC), 34-25, in a non-league battle.
