Nebraska High School Basketball - Fullerton can't hold off Central Valley

The Central Valley Cougars basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Fullerton Warriors to 38 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cougars now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elgin/Pope John for a D1 District 5 contest on Tuesday, January 23. Central Valley will battle a Wolfpack team coming off a 60-39 non-league loss to West Holt (Atkinson, NE). The Wolfpack record now stands at 8-5.

The Warriors (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Elba (Elba, NE). The Bluejays enter the non-league contest with a 0-10 record. In their last contest, Elba was nudged by Heartland Lutheran (Grand Island, NE), 60-23, in a non-league contest.
