Highwood Mountaineers (Highwood, MT) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Great Falls Central Catholic Mustangs (Great Falls, MT), 60-48 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Highwood upgrades its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Mountaineers host Belt (Belt, MT) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Huskies come into the bout with a record of 9-3.

Next up, the Mustangs play the Heart Butte Warriors (Heart Butte, MT) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 25. Great Falls Central Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 86-80 non-league loss to Two Eagle River (Pablo, MT).
