The St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions (Potomac, MD) basketball crushed the visiting St. James Saints (Hagerstown, MD), 71-48 in Saturday's league test.
The Lions (11-5) will now prepare for their test against Grace Brethren Christian (Clinton, MD). The go into the non-league test with a 19-2 record. In their last test, Grace Brethren Christian walloped Highland (Warrenton, VA), 70-59, in a league test.
The Saints now own a 2-11 record. They play next when they host Sidwell Friends for a DCSAA AA test on Tuesday, January 23. St. James will encounter a Quakers squad coming off a 71-36 non-league win over Fairfax Christian (Dulles, VA). The Quakers record now stands at 13-4.
