Georgia High School Basketball - West Hall thwarts Johnson

The West Hall Spartans (Oakwood, GA) basketball knocked off the host Johnson Knights (Gainesville, GA), 31-23 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Spartans (1-15) will now prepare for their test against Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA). The Indians go into the AAA Region 7 test with a 7-12 record. In their last test, Lumpkin County went down by Wesleyan (Norcross, GA), 64-20, in a league test.
The Knights now own a 3-18 record. They play next when they travel to North Hall for a AAAA Region 8 test on Tuesday, January 23. Johnson will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 59-20 league loss to Chestatee (Gainesville, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 13-6.
