South Iron Panthers (Annapolis, MO) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Ellington Whippets (Ellington, MO), 50-44 in a non-league match.

With the victory, South Iron advances its record to 3-11 on the year. The Panthers travel to East Carter (Ellsinore, MO) to meet the Redbirds in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 22. The Redbirds enter the match with a record of 5-4.
