Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Carson Senators (Carson City, NV), 60-50 in a league match.

With the victory, Spanish Springs upgrades its record to 18-2 on the year. The Cougars travel to Galena (Reno, NV) to face the Grizzlies in a match on Thursday, January 23. The Grizzlies enter the match with a record of 9-9. Galena won 56-54 in their recent league match against McQueen (Reno, NV)

The Senators now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Reno for a match on Wednesday, January 22. Carson will face a Huskies squad coming off a 75-61 league win over Douglas (Minden, NV). The Huskies record now stands at 17-1.
