Nevada High School Basketball - Spanish Springs triumphant over Carson

The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV) and the host Carson Senators (Carson City, NV), observed Spanish Springs's basketball team overwhelm Carson by a margin of 62-34.

The Cougars (8-0) will now prepare for their challenge against South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA). The Vikings come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, South Tahoe was trounced by Churchill County (Fallon, NV), 57-50, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Senators battle the Reno Huskies (Reno, NV) in a challenge, on Friday, December 20. Carson will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 70-29 league win over Douglas (Minden, NV).
