Lathrop Spartans (Lathrop, CA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Pacheco Panthers (Los Banos, CA), 3-2 in a league outing.

The Spartans (14-3) will now prepare for their outing against Grace Davis (Modesto, CA). The Spartans come into the Western Athletic Conference test with a 2-12 record. In their last test, Grace Davis was tipped by Central Valley (Ceres, CA), 6-1, in a league test.

The Panthers now have a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central Valley for a Western Athletic Conference outing on Thursday, January 22. Pacheco will play a Hawks squad coming off a 6-1 league win over Grace Davis (Modesto, CA). The Hawks record now stands at 5-8.
