In Friday's league outing, the Mansfield Wolverines (Mansfield, LA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting North Webster Knights (Springhill, LA), by a count of 79-38.
The Wolverines (6-6) will now prepare for their outing against Loyola College Prep (Shreveport, LA). The Flyers go into the 3A District 1 outing with a 7-11 record. In their last outing, Loyola College Prep smashed North Caddo (Vivian, LA), 67-50, in a non-league outing.
The Knights now hold a 8-10 record. They play next when they travel to Red River for a non-league outing on Monday, January 24. North Webster will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 78-69 league win over Winnfield (Winnfield, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-10.
