    • Georgia High School Basketball - Oak Mountain Academy ripped by Piedmont Academy

    The Piedmont Academy Cougars basketball team scored 79 points and held the host Oak Mountain Academy Warriors to 56 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

    The Cougars now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Georgia Arts for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 22. Piedmont Academy will meet a team coming off a 72-63 league loss to Rock Springs Christian Academy (Milner, GA). The record now stands at 5-14.

    The Warriors (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against St. George's (Milner, GA). The enter the GISA AA Region 1 contest with a 1-11 record. In their last contest, St. George's triumphed over LaGrange Academy (LaGrange, GA), 47-37, in a league contest.
