The Quitman Panthers topped the host Mendenhall Tigers basketball team by a final score of 12-0 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Panthers face the Richland Rangers (Richland, MS) in a 4A Region 5 game, on Friday, January 28. Quitman will attempt to move on its 18-6 season record. The Rangers enter the game with a 0-7 record after their 70-14 non-league loss to Simpson Academy (Mendenhall, MS).
