Alpena Leopards (Alpena, AR) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mount Judea Eagles (Mount Judea, AR), 58-19 in a league bout.

With the win, Alpena upgrades its record to 9-13 on the season. The Leopards travel to Deer (Deer, AR) to clash with the Antlers in a 1A Region 1 East bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Antlers go into the bout with a record of 3-15.

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Omaha Eagles (Omaha, AR) in a 1A Region 1 East bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Mount Judea will attempt to upgrade on its 0-13 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 11-4 record after their 56-48 league loss to Kingston (Kingston, AR).
