Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Crestwood can't hold off Wyoming Valley West

The Wyoming Valley West Spartans basketball team scored 41 points and held the host Crestwood Comets to 37 in the Spartans league triumph on Saturday.
The Spartans now sport a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dallas for a Wyoming Valley 1 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Wyoming Valley West will battle a Mountaineers team coming off a 70-43 league win over Wilkes-Barre (Wilkes-Barre, PA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 14-1.
The Comets (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Pittston (Pittston, PA). The Patriots enter the Wyoming Valley 1 contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Pittston nudged Berwick (Berwick, PA), 51-48, in a league contest.
