In Saturday's non-league match, the host McEvans Warriors basketball team scored a good 59-50 triumph over the Edwards Tigers.
In their next game, the Warriors meet the St. Joseph Fighting Irish (Greenville, MS) in a non-league match, on Monday, January 23. McEvans will attempt to better on its 13-6 season record.
