In Saturday's league match, the visiting Grant Union Prospectors basketball team scored a tight 53-52 triumph over the Weston-McEwen TigerScots.
In their next game, the Prospectors meet the Heppner Mustangs (Heppner, OR) in a 2A Blue Mountain match, on Thursday, January 26. Grant Union will attempt to move on its 7-9 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 13-4 record after their 60-31 league win over Irrigon (Irrigon, OR).
With the defeat, Weston-McEwen moves to 9-10 on the year. The Tigerscots host Enterprise (Enterprise, OR) to meet the Outlaws in a 2A Blue Mountain match on Friday, January 27. The Outlaws enter the match with a record of 3-12.
