Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Roaring Fork Rams (Carbondale, CO) and the visiting Gunnison Cowboys (Gunnison, CO), saw Roaring Fork's basketball squad wallop Gunnison by a count of 68-41.
With the victory, Roaring Fork upgrades its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Rams host North Fork (Hotchkiss, CO) to play the Miners in a 3A Western Slope challenge on Friday, January 27. The Miners come into the challenge with a record of 3-7.
Next up, the Cowboys play the Pagosa Springs Pirates (Pagosa Springs, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Gunnison will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 10-2 record after their 55-42 league win over Bayfield (Bayfield, CO).
