Towns County Indians (Hiawassee, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lake Oconee Academy Titans (Greensboro, GA), 69-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Towns County upgrades its record to 11-7 on the season. The Indians host Hiwassee Dam (Murphy, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 7-9. Hiwassee Dam won 66-60 in their recent non-league bout against Copper Basin (Copperhill, TN)

Next up, the Titans play the Taliaferro County JAGUARS (Crawfordville, GA) in a A D2 Region 8A bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Lake Oconee Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The JAGUARS go into the bout with a 1-12 record after their 63-30 non-league loss to Greene County (Greensboro, GA).
