The Leavitt Hornets basketball team (Turner, ME), dropped 60-44 in Saturday's league battle with the host Lincoln Academy Eagles (Newcastle, ME)
The Eagles now possess a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mount View for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 24. Lincoln Academy will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 57-49 league win over Washington Academy (East Machias, ME). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-4.
The Hornets (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME). The Panthers come into the B South battle with a 12-3 record. In their last battle, Medomak Valley beat Camden Hills (Rockport, ME), 75-64, in a non-league battle.
