Maryland High School Basketball - Mountain Ridge tipped by Northern

The Northern Huskies basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Mountain Ridge Miners to 47 in the Huskies league triumph on Saturday.

The Huskies now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Hill for a Appalachian contest on Tuesday, January 24. Northern will meet a Sentinels team coming off a 76-47 non-league win over Clear Spring (Clear Spring, MD). The Sentinels record now stands at 7-2.

The Miners (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Keyser (Keyser, WV). The Golden Tornado enter the non-league contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Keyser was nudged by Fort Hill (Cumberland, MD), 71-63, in a non-league contest.
