Maryland High School Basketball - Mountain Ridge crushes Northern

January 27, 2023: Frostburg, MD 21532

Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Northern Huskies (Accident, MD), 70-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Mountain Ridge upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Miners travel to Allegany (Cumberland, MD) to clash with the Campers in a Appalachian bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Campers go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Allegany lost 65-60 in their recent non-league bout against Clear Spring (Clear Spring, MD)

Next up, the Huskies clash with the Fort Hill Sentinels (Cumberland, MD) in a Appalachian bout, on Wednesday, February 1. Northern will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record.
