New Mexico High School Basketball - Animas trounces Reserve

The Animas Panthers (Animas, NM) basketball crushed the visiting Reserve Mountaineers (Reserve, NM), 52-21 in Saturday's league test.
The Panthers (11-5) will now prepare for their test against Magdalena (Magdalena, NM). The Steers go into the A District 2 test with a 12-7 record. In their last test, Magdalena walloped Mesilla Valley Christian School (Las Cruces, NM), 42-32, in a league test.
The Mountaineers now own a 9-7 record. They play next when they host Quemado for a A District 2 test on Thursday, January 26. Reserve will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 54-28 league loss to Cliff (Cliff, NM). The Eagles record now stands at 12-5.
