Maine High School Basketball - Cony nudges Maranacook

In Saturday's non-league outing, the Cony Rams (Augusta, ME) basketball squad edged the visiting Maranacook Black Bears (Readfield, ME), by a count of 55-49.
The Rams (10-2) will now prepare for their outing against Nokomis (Newport, ME). The Warriors go into the A North outing with a 7-5 record. In their last outing, Nokomis held off Erskine Academy (South China, ME), 37-36, in a league outing.
The Black Bears now hold a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Mount View for a non-league outing on Wednesday, February 1.
