The Cony Rams (Augusta, ME) basketball nipped the visiting Maranacook Black Bears (Readfield, ME), 50-43 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Rams (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Camden Hills (Rockport, ME). The Windjammers go into the A North test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Camden Hills was tipped by Oceanside (Rockland, ME), 70-27, in a non-league test.
The Black Bears now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Old Orchard Beach for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 10. Maranacook will encounter a Seagulls squad coming off a 73-42 non-league win over Seacoast Christian (South Berwick, ME). The Seagulls record now stands at 5-1.
