Oregon High School Basketball - Weston-McEwen topples Grant Union

In Saturday's league outing, the Weston-McEwen TigerScots (Athena, OR) basketball squad beat the visiting Grant Union Prospectors (John Day, OR), by a count of 41-26.
The TigerScots (10-9) will now prepare for their outing against Enterprise (Enterprise, OR). The Outlaws go into the 2A Blue Mountain outing with a 10-7 record. In their last outing, Enterprise was topped by Stanfield (Stanfield, OR), 54-24, in a league outing.
The Prospectors now hold a 1-14 record. They play next when they travel to Heppner for a 2A Blue Mountain outing on Thursday, January 26. Grant Union will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 35-29 league loss to Irrigon (Irrigon, OR). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-11.
