Weston-McEwen TigerScots (Athena, OR) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Grant Union Prospectors (John Day, OR), 48-23 in a league bout.

With the victory, Weston-McEwen upgrades its record to 12-11 on the campaign. The TigerScots travel to Heppner (Heppner, OR) to play the Mustangs in a 2A Blue Mountain bout on Friday, February 10. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 7-14. Heppner lost 37-28 in their recent league bout against Irrigon (Irrigon, OR)

Next up, the Prospectors play the Enterprise Outlaws (Enterprise, OR) in a 2A Blue Mountain bout, on Friday, February 10. Grant Union will attempt to upgrade on its 1-16 season record.
