Roaring Fork Rams (Carbondale, CO) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Gunnison Cowboys (Gunnison, CO), 46-25 in a league bout.

With the win, Roaring Fork upgrades its record to 3-8 on the season. The Rams host North Fork (Hotchkiss, CO) to play the Miners in a 3A Western Slope bout on Friday, January 27. The Miners go into the bout with a record of 7-3. North Fork won 57-20 in their recent non-league bout against Ridgway (Ridgway, CO)

Next up, the Cowboys play the Pagosa Springs Pirates (Pagosa Springs, CO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Gunnison will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 2-10 record after their 63-14 league win over Bayfield (Bayfield, CO).
