The Gunnison Cowboys (Gunnison, CO) basketball knocked off the visiting Roaring Fork Rams (Carbondale, CO), 54-37 in Saturday's league test.
The Cowboys (10-8) will now prepare for their test against Olathe (Olathe, CO). The Pirates go into the 3A Western Slope test with a 13-5 record. In their last test, Olathe notched a victory over Aspen (Aspen, CO), 40-17, in a league test.
The Rams now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to Aspen for a 3A Western Slope test on Tuesday, February 14. Roaring Fork will encounter a Skiers squad coming off a 40-17 league loss to Olathe (Olathe, CO). The Skiers record now stands at 0-20.
