Melba Mustangs (Melba, ID) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host New Plymouth Pilgrims (New Plymouth, ID), 62-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Melba upgrades its record to 19-0 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Columbia (Nampa, ID) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Monday, January 23. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 10-7. Columbia won 58-25 in their recent league bout against Emmett (Emmett, ID)

Next up, the Pilgrims play the Vale Vikings (Vale, OR) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. New Plymouth will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 44-5 league win over Umatilla (Umatilla, OR).
