Wells Leopards (Wells, NV) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Owyhee Braves (Owyhee, NV), 35-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Wells upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Leopards travel to Jackpot (Jackpot, NV) to clash with the Jaguars in a Freelance bout on Friday, January 27. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 1-8. Jackpot won 38-32 in their recent league bout against Carlin (Carlin, NV)

Next up, the Braves clash with the Borah Lions (Boise, ID) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 21. Owyhee will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 1-14 record after their 42-39 league loss to Nampa (Nampa, ID).
