In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Valor Christian Eagles (Highlands Ranch, CO) ice hockey team bounced the visiting Mountain Vista Golden Eagles (Highlands Ranch, CO), by a margin of 10-3.

The Eagles now possess a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Denver East for a 5A Metro challenge on Wednesday, January 25. Valor Christian will clash with a Angels team coming off a 2-2 non-league Standley Lake (Westminster, CO). The Angels record now stands at 8-2.
