With the victory, Pershing County improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Incline (Incline Village, NV) to confront the Highlanders in a challenge on Friday, January 27. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a record of 8-3.

Next up, the Longhorns confront the West Wendover Wolverines (West Wendover, NV) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Battle Mountain will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 8-10 record after their 56-14 league win over Coral Academy of Science - Reno (Reno, NV).
