Nevada High School Basketball - Pershing County edges Battle Mountain

The Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) basketball nipped the visiting Battle Mountain Longhorns (Battle Mountain, NV), 44-40 in Thursday's league test.

The Mustangs (15-2) will now prepare for their test against West Wendover (West Wendover, NV). The Wolverines go into the test with a 13-11 record. In their last test, West Wendover got by North Tahoe (Tahoe City, CA), 62-15, in a league test.

The Longhorns now own a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to Coral Academy of Science - Reno for a test on Friday, February 10.
