North Carolina High School Basketball - Asheville School (Independent) overwhelms Carolina Day

The Asheville School (Independent) Blues basketball team scored 85 points and limited the visiting Carolina Day Wildcats to 58 in the Blues league triumph on Tuesday.

The Blues now possess a 11-4 record. They play next when they travel to Asheville Christian Academy for a NCISAA Carolinas game on Saturday, January 25. Asheville School (Independent) will confront a Lions team coming off a 61-52 league win over Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (Rabun Gap, GA). The Lions record now stands at 13-4.

With the loss, Carolina Day drops to 5-9 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Christ School (Arden, NC) to face the Greenies in a NCISAA Carolinas match on Thursday, January 23. The Greenies enter the match with a record of 16-1. Christ School lost 73-66 in their recent non-league match against Chambers (Charlotte, NC)
