Nebraska High School Basketball - Banner County trounced by Garden County

January 21, 2025: Oshkosh, NE 69154

Garden County Eagles (Oshkosh, NE) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Banner County Wildcats (Harrisburg, NE), 72-40 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Garden County advances its record to 7-4 on the year. The Eagles travel to Sedgwick County (Julesburg, CO) to meet the Cougars in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 7-2. Sedgwick County won 55-41 in their recent league match against Caliche (Iliff, CO)

The Wildcats now own a 0-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Leyton for a D2 District 11 match on Tuesday, January 28. Banner County will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 45-36 non-league win over Potter-Dix (Potter, NE). The Warriors record now stands at 4-8.
