Texas High School Basketball - University sneaks past Chaparral

The University Trojans (Waco, TX) basketball edged the host Chaparral Bobcats (Killeen, TX), 58-55 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Trojans now possess a 21-6 record. They play next when they travel to Belton for a 5A Region II District 16 bout on Friday, January 24. University will play a Tigers team coming off a 73-59 league win over Lake Belton (Temple, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 23-5.
With the loss, Chaparral falls to 17-11 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Waco (Waco, TX) to play the Lions in a 5A Region II District 16 bout on Friday, January 24. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 7-20. Waco lost 70-34 in their recent league bout against Ellison (Killeen, TX)
