The Trojans (23-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Belton (Belton, TX). The Tigers come into the 5A Region II District 16 challenge with a 27-6 record. In their last challenge, Belton prevailed over Lake Belton (Temple, TX), 61-50, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bobcats encounter the Waco Lions (Waco, TX) in a 5A Region II District 16 challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Chaparral will attempt to improve on its 19-14 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 8-24 record after their 78-42 league loss to Ellison (Killeen, TX).
