The Mustangs (3-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Fargo North (Fargo, ND). The Spartans come into the AA East challenge with a 4-8 record. In their last challenge, Fargo North edged Fargo South (Fargo, ND), 63-59, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Red River Roughriders (Grand Forks, ND) in a AA East challenge, on Friday, January 24. Grand Forks Central will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Roughriders come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 88-52 league win over Shanley (Fargo, ND).
