The Hermon Hawks basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting Mount Desert Island Trojans to 46 in the Hawks league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hawks now have a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Old Town for a B North game on Thursday, January 23. Hermon will confront a Coyotes team coming off a 68-58 league win over John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME). The Coyotes record now stands at 8-7.

With the loss, Mount Desert Island falls to 9-6 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Presque Isle (Presque Isle, ME) to confront the Wildcats in a B North game on Friday, January 24. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 9-7. Presque Isle won 59-45 in their recent league game against Bucksport (Bucksport, ME)
