In Tuesday's league test, the Northwood Panthers (Saltville, VA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Honaker Tigers (Honaker, VA), by a score of 61-35.
Next, the Panthers clash with the Patrick Henry Rebels (Glade Spring, VA) in a Hogoheegee test, on Friday, January 24. Northwood will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Rebels come into the test with a 14-2 record after their 89-33 league win over Rural Retreat (Rural Retreat, VA).
The Tigers (0-14) will now prepare for their test against Eastside (Coeburn, VA). The Spartans come into the non-league test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, Eastside was routed by J.I. Burton (Norton, VA), 49-45, in a league test.
