The Northwood Panthers (Saltville, VA) basketball crushed the host Honaker Tigers (Honaker, VA), 59-33 in Friday's league bout.
The Panthers now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marion for a non-league outing on Monday, February 10. Northwood will face a Scarlet Hurricanes squad coming off a 76-59 league win over Tazewell (Tazewell, VA). The Scarlet Hurricanes record now stands at 9-10.
The Tigers (2-20) will now prepare for their outing against Chilhowie (Chilhowie, VA). The Warriors enter the Hogoheegee outing with a 11-7 record. In their last outing, Chilhowie routed Holston (Damascus, VA), 69-38, in a league outing.
