In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Jenkins Cavaliers basketball team scored a big 91-42 win over the June Buchanan Crusaders.
The Cavaliers (13-2) will now prepare for their contest against Knott County Central (Hindman, KY). The Patriots come into the District 53 contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, Knott County Central was trounced by Betsy Layne (Betsy Layne, KY), 70-58, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Crusaders battle the Cordia Lions (Hazard, KY) in a District 53 contest, on Monday, February 17. June Buchanan will attempt to better on its 0-11 season record.
